Hi folks,
As you fight your way through the campaign you will invariably suffer losses. At the end of a battle and with your next set of movement orders you must also give orders for replacing your troops. How many you replace in the field is up to you and your bank account!
Losses that take you below the mandatory selection options i.e. an officer and 2 infantry units MUST be replaced if you have sufficient points.
Priority for replacing lost units:
1. Officers
2. Mandatory infantry unit(s)
3. Any other units
NB
If a command section loses it's officer but not his accompanying men the officer must still be replaced.
When replacing battle losses you may NOT replace units killed with different units - the only time you are allowed to change your army lists is in Winter in preparation for the following year.
Free units belonging to an army that are killed are regained in Winter, if you lose an artillery observer or a rifle squad they may be replaced at full cost in Spring, Summer or Autumn or for free in Winter.
